With Maccabi's own Bloomfield Stadium braced to undergo a vital facelift, the club have signed an agreement to remain there throughout the 2015/16 pre-playoff season
Under the terms of an agreement signed with Sport Palaces of Tel Aviv – Yafo Ltd., Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club will begin their 2015/16 European campaign at Bloomfield Stadium and continue to host their league and Cup matches there at least until the end of the Israeli Premier League pre-playoff season.
Maccabi Tel Aviv returned to their beloved Bloomfield Stadium at the start of the new millennium after five years of exile at the National Stadium in Ramat Gan. Since that long-awaited return fifteen years ago, Maccabi have won three championships and three State Cups, while conducting two campaigns in the group stages of the Europa League.
