Maccabi's Swedish striker Rade Prica has returned to full training after a long absence due to injury, but he's already excited about tomorrow night's tie against Hapoel Beer Sheva: "I feel like a new player now"
After a nearly three month's absence, Maccabi Tel Aviv's Swedish striker Rade Prica has returned to full training. This morning he took his place next to head coach Pako Ayestaran at the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's 8.55pm kick-off against Hapoel Beer Sheva. "We know it's going to be a very difficult game. Beer Sheva are a very good team. From now on it's us or them competing for the championship. We have the advantage with a home game and I think we're strong enough to win tomorrow. I think we are in the advantage and I think they have more pressure than we. We have the five points' difference right now and a draw for us tomorrow is a good result. Beer Sheva have to go forward and we don't have to feel the pressure".

"I feel good now", Prica added, "It's been a tough time for me. I feel like a new player now. It's been difficult. I've been training by myself for six weeks and I've not been allowed to run, even touch the ball. But I've been working very hard. Now the last two weeks I've been training with the team and I feel I've been improving a lot".
The Swedish striker was also asked to compare this year's squad with those that took the title in the previous two seasons: "It's difficult to compare. I think we have a very good team this year and I think we showed also that we are number one. We can make history this year and to take the championship is difficult every year. But we're in a good run and we have a very good chance".
