After an historical week of winning both the league and the State Cup, Maccabi Tel Aviv will travel to the capital to face Beitar Jerusalem (Monday, 8:55pm). Beitar is playing to secure the 4th place, which leads to Europe and with two games left in the 2014/15 season, the local team has a lot to play for.

Barak Badash described the preparations for the game after winning the league and the cup last week:

“There is no doubt that that we are treating this game like any other. We already won everything there is to win but we have to remain competitive because the game has a direct impact on the 4th place, It is really important for us to stay professional. We have a deep squad and it should help us in the preparation for the match. There are several players who can step into the first team in case some of the starters are fatigued or injured”.

Badash is certain that Maccabi will not have an easy game at ‘Teddy’: “They have a great team. They proved it against us and against the rest of the league. The games against them are always challenging, especially at Teddy Stadium. It won’t be an easy encounter but I hope that the fact that we don’t have any pressure will help us to perform well".

The striker touched on Maccabi’s goal to improve their points record in the table: “As a team we want to finish the regular season with the highest number of points. We also can’t forget that we are playing for Eran Zahavi who is on the verge of breaking the top scorer record. I doubt if anyone else will come close to breaking the record in the near future. As a team we will do our best to help Eran become the all time top scorer”.
