Following his club’s 1:1 draw against Kiryat Shemona, Maccabi’s Serbian Head Coach looked forward to his side’s first group stage Champions League match away at Chelsea this coming Wednesday.
Jokanovic split the match into two halves and said: “We played a very bad game in the first 45 minutes and we weren’t well organized on the pitch. We played good football in the second half and we had some very good chances late in the game but we only scored on one of those opportunities.”
About Wednesday’s game against Chelsea: “I really can’t take anything away from the match today as the two games will be totally different. Tonight we played in the Israeli league and we have an upcoming match in the Champions League, we must be ready for one of the best teams in the world.”
