Eitan Tibi, Maccabi Tel Aviv’s starting central defender will use his experience gained from club play when he suits up for the Blue-and-White of Israel against Cyprus and Belgium. Tibi talks about the upcoming National Team matches:
You’ve played in a number of various competitions, how will this help going into the National Team games:
“I always tell myself that I should just be healthy and be able to play in 
all of these different competitions. That’s all a footballer asks for. I’m very happy that I am playing
in so many competitions and I hope it continues. The games against Cyprus and Belgium won’t be easy and I know that playing in the Champions League will help us against these countries. The experience that we’ve had against bigger and better teams in Europe will certainly be helpful to all of us.”
Maccabi’s defense is also that of the Israel National Team:
“That’s also good and I hope that our defense will help us perform well and advance further in the Euro 2016 tournament.”
