Maccabi Tel Aviv’s new ‘keeper Predrag Rajkovic has now been with the club for a month and he discusses his time in Israel so far, playing for his National Team recording a shutout against Acre:
On a clean sheet performance:
“I feel very very good as this is the second league game I have a clean sheet and I’m very happy that we won today. Now we have a National team break but right after that we play Maccabi Petach Tikva and we have to be ready for that.”
Playing with the Serbian National Team:
“We have a game against Albania and it will be a very difficult match. It’s very important for me to play for the National Team and right now I’m the second ‘keeper but I believe very soon I’ll be the number one choice for the team.”
You’ve been in Israel for a month, how would you sum it up:
“This month has been very good for me and the match against was Beer Sheva was a good start. After the last few games I am beginning to see why I am here.”
