Five year ban to the fan who threw the flair in the derby and the lighter against Bnei Yehuda. The fan who threw the lighter against Bnei Yehuda was banned till the end of the season. A complaint against fans who rioted at Kiryat Shalom and a letter of warning to the fans arrested in Porto.
The fan who was caught throwing the Bengal flair during the derby match against Hapoel Tel Aviv received a five-year-ban from all club activities. The ban reflects information we received from the police that he was breaching an existing banning order by the courts and was supposed to be on house arrest.
The fan who threw a lighter during the Toto Cup match against Bnei Yehuda, an offence which also led to another Disciplinary Charge by the IFA – was also banned till the end of the season.
In addition, Maccabi Tel Aviv FC together with a steward working on the clubs’ behalf, filed a complaint with the Police against a fan who punched a steward during Friday’s training session at Kiryat Shalom. This fan already has a banning order in place from Kiryat Shalom and Bloomfield.
The club will continue its hard line stance by issuing banning orders and pursuing individuals for any fines the club receives.
Seven warning letters to fans arrested by the police in Porto were also sent.
The club warned fans against future involvement in such incidents which damage the reputation of the club whether inside or outside stadiums. Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club will continue with it’s hardline policy and zero tolerance towards those intent on causing the club harm.
