You’re ready for the last Champions League home match his season and now you just have to figure out the best way to get to Sammy Ofer Stadium on Tuesday night for the Chelsea match at 21:45 on Matchday Five of the Champions League and avoid all of the traffic. We’re here to make sure you won’t make a mistake. Below is all of the information you need about taking public transportation to the stadium to save you both gasoline and time.
Maccabi Tel Aviv FC calls on all fans to make sure to get to the stadium as early as possible to make your travels as pleasant and as easy as possible to enjoy a great evening of football. The stadium gates open at 19:00.
Arriving by Bus:
FANZONE has organized busses from various locations around the country. IMPORTANT! FANZONE will have three pickup points for only 10₪ each way to Sammy Ofer Stadium. The HaRishonim Railway Station, Reading Tel Aviv and Cinema City Glilot.
The round trip ride tickets are available at attractive prices and can be reserved in advanced via the FANZONE website. Go to the website and you can see all of the details, times and price of all of the various rides. (See the price list below) Please note that the rides are on condition of a minimum amount of registrants per pick up point.
The registration and reservation along with the actual rides are the sole responsibility of FANZONE and they take all the responsibility for the operation of the buses and rides.
Israel Railways
Israel Railways will also be available for the Yellow-and-Blue fans that will be heading to Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa as there will be special trains (beginning at 18:00) and give you a 10% discount on round trip tickets. The trains after the match will leave once they are filled to capacity and may leave early or later than the estimated times. The trains prior to the match will leave per the scheduled time. Please visit the Israel Railways website or App where you can find the timetable and further details.
To receive the discount, all fans at railway stations from Hadera and south including Hadera must request the special discounted match round trip tickets at the ticket windows.
