The Yellow-and-Blue return to Winner League action on Matchday 12 against Bnei Yehuda in a home match that is taking place at the Netanya Stadium on Sunday at 20:55 due to the winterization of the Bloomfield pitch. Midfielder Gili Vermouth spoke about the upcoming match as he contrasted it to the last time the club played Bnei Yehuda in Toto Cup action:

“When we played Bnei Yehuda in the Toto Cup we had a very short squad and this will be a totally different match as it’s a league game. It will be a tough challenge and they played very well last week against Beer Sheva. We’ll be ready for battle.”

“Every match is important and we want to take three points. Right now the table is very tight with Beer Sheva and Beitar Jerusalem right behind us and this match is crucial. Winning and taking points now will help us breathe easier later on in the year.”

“We don’t like it when the opposing teams close up the pitch and play for a counter attack against us. We saw this last week when we played Hapoel Haifa and Bnei Yehuda may play like this as well so we have to be prepared. We always want to score as many goals as we can in each match and give up as few as possible or even none.”

His desire to score:

“It’s most important that the team wins but it would be nice if I would finally score a goal as well and hand out some assists also.”
