Maccabi Tel Aviv FC agreed to Nikola Mitrovic’s request from a month ago to leave the club as the 29-year-old Serbian midfielder made his final appearance for the club against Maccabi Haifa at Bloomfield.
Sports Director Jordi Cruyff told the clubs’ official website: “We would like to thank Nikola who has been a very important player in the past 2.5 years. Mitro was a professional until his last day with us, playing and training with lots of passion. We wish him all the best for the future”.
