The final prize of the Gala evening was the Honorary Award sponsored by Diesenhaus and was awarded posthumously to Yosele Merimovitch ZT”L who was responsible for changing the Club’s colors from White & Blue to Yellow & Blue to stand in solidarity with the Jews of Europe who were forced to wear the Yellow Star during the 1940’s.

The prize was given by Diesenhaus COO Iris Maor along with Sports Director Jordi Cruyff to Merimovitch’s daughters and grandchildren who were specially invited to the event.
