Dor Micha, Maccabi Tel Aviv’s #15 is ready for training camp in preparation for the new season in Austria. The midfielder talked about reuniting with his teammates, Eran Zahavi, his feelings about meeting the new Head Coach and of course the flight:
“The flight went well and it was quite quick. Most of the guys slept so I kept an eye on them.”
Going back to training camp:
“I think it was the shortest break that I’ve ever had and it went by very quickly. But we all rested a bit and got our strength back. This year, the break was really short and we have to be ready to play a competitive match in Europe in two weeks so we will have to get back to business quickly along with the coach, so that will be the goal of this camp.”
About having a new Head Coach:
“We’re used to this already as we’ve had a number of coaches over the last few years. But of course it’s exciting as we want to find out about the person who will be working with us. We’re all looking forward to meeting the new coach to see what his expectations are.”
Feelings about the Eran Zahavi situation:
“He didn’t fly with us and we don’t really know anything more than that. I’m sure everything will turn out well both for Maccabi and for Eran and I hope that whatever happens it will end up being for the best.”
