Dor Micha has been playing in European action with Maccabi Tel Aviv since September of 2011 and is prepared for another encounter tonight in Kazakhstan when his side kicks off against Kairat Almaty:
“They’re not an easy team whatsoever. We watched video of them today and they have a number of quality players. We’ll have to be at our best in order to advance.”
Importance of a good result in the first leg away:
“It’s very important to get a good result. Today is only the first of two matches, so we need to have a good away result if we are to have any chance to move on.”
His European adventures:
“This is my seventh year with the first team and my 4th campaign in Europe. I have good memories from playing in the Champions League and twice in the Europa League group stages. I’ve had good luck in Europe and I hope that it continues.”
