The last time Maccabi opened up their UEFA Europa League group stages campaign they drew 0:0 with APOEL Nicosia which included a missed penalty in the 90th minute by Barak Itzhaki. That season, the Yellow & Blue finished in second place as they advanced to the Round of 32. Will Maccabi have a successful run in Europe just as they did in 2013/14? They’ll be kicking off against the strongest team in Group D, Zenit at the Netanya Stadium.

Within a week, Maccabi will play three games at the Netanya Stadium, however, this time the Yellow & Blue will be the away team against Hapoel Raanana. The two sides have already met in the Toto Cup and Maccabi came out on top.

The first Classico of the regular season. Following a 2:0 Toto Cup Derby victory, Shota Arveladze’s players will look to continue their winning ways in Derby action with their home matchup against the Reds.
