There’s plenty of Maccabi representatives who will be plying their trade for their National Teams around the globe with the majority of them playing in World Cup qualification matches. Who, when & where?

Israel National Team

Macedonia – Israel (06/10/16, Philip II, Skopje)

Israel – Liechtenstein (09/10/16, Teddy)

After falling to Italy, the Blue & White will look to win their first match on Thursday when they visit Philip II National Stadium in Skopje. Five Maccabi players were called up to the squad by Head Coach Elisha Levy including, winger Tal Ben Chaim, Eitan, Tibi, Eyal Golasa, Eli Dasa and Omri Ben Harush who returns to the National Team. Following the away match in Macedonia, Israel will face Liechtenstein at Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem on Sunday 09/10.

Israel Under-21 Team

Israel – Greece (06/10/16, Toto Turner)

Israel – Albania (10/10/16, Moshava)

Marko Balbul’s side will make their final push towards ensuring their participation in the Euro 2017 Under-21 Tournament by solidifying their position as one of the top four second place teams among the nine groups. Dor Peretz and Eliel Peretz will represent Maccabi in the upcoming two games while loaned players Yonatan Cohen, Sean Goldberg and Shachar Fiben will also be part of the Blue & White squad.

Serbia – Predrag Rajikovic

The young keeper will join his National Team for an away match in Moldova for their second game in Group D in World Cup Qualifying after drawing their first match 2:2 against the Republic of Ireland. Three days after their trip to Moldova, Serbia will host Austria in one of the most important clashes in the group for a ticket to the World Cup.

Belarus – Egor Filipenka

The Maccabi Tel Aviv central defender will visit “De Kuip”, home of Feyenoord in Holland as Belarus played the Netherlands on Matchday Two. A few days later Filipenka and his National Team will host Luxembourg.

Bosnia – Haris Medunjanin

Following a Matchday One victory, the Maccabi midfielder will have a tough test as his side will take a trip to take in Belgium. Three days later Bosnia will host Cyprus in Zenica.

Nigeria – Nosa Igiebor

The Super Eagles new recruit will kick off against Zambia in the first round of World Cup Qualifying in Group B.

Iceland – Vidar Kjartansson

The Maccabi Tel Aviv striker will play two home matches as Iceland faces Finland on Matchday Two and Turkey on Matchday Three after drawing 1:1 against Ukraine on Matchday One.
