Maccabi Tel Aviv FC and Tal Ben Haim reached an agreement to extend the contract of the central defender by one more season. Ben Haim will sign his contract extension and is set to join the rest of the team which travels to Austria for a pre-season later in the week.
The 35-year defender, who grew up at Maccabi’s Youth department and returned to the club in 2015 after a successful 11-year-spell in Europe, told the club’s official website: “I am delighted to continue for another season at the club I grew up at. I am grateful for the faith and trust shown in me as I have one aim before me – to return the trophies back to Maccabi Tel Aviv”.
