Maccabi Tel Aviv FC thanks Gal Alberman for his 7 years of hard work and significant contribution to the Club’s success.
Mitch Goldhar stated: “From his first day at the Club, Gal was a true professional who
trained and played with all his heart as well as setting an example for his fellow players. He played a major role in the Club’s achievements over the years and for which I will always be grateful. We part ways with the greatest respect and heartfelt best wishes to his family and himself for the future.”
Gal Alberman arrived at Maccabi during the summer of 2010 after two seasons at German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach. The midfielder played 7 seasons for Maccabi and was a fixture in the Yellow & Blue lineup helping the club to three straight championships beginning in 2012/13. Number 6 also served as Captain and added a State Cup along with a Toto Cup to his trophy case.
Alberman made 312 appearances for Maccabi Tel Aviv across all competitions while also participating in the 2015/16 Champions League Group Stages as well as the 2013/14 & 2016/17 Europa League. Over the course of his time with the Yellow & Blue, Alberman scored 10 goals while assisting on 7 others.
