Maccabi Tel Aviv opened up training (Wednesday) for the 2017/18 season. Over the next few days the sessions will focus on physical fitness and medical tests to determine the state of the players. Two sessions took place today as Jordi Cruyff and his staff conducted the training for the first time in his new role.

On Sunday, the club will fly to their training camp in Austria. During their stay abroad the team will take part in a number of friendlies while the first real test will take place on June 29th when the Yellow & Blue will play the first leg of the first round of Europa League qualifying. The draw to determine who Maccabi will kickoff against takes place on June 19th.
