Maccabi “Shachar” Tel Aviv defeated Bnei Yehuda 1:0 in the Little Derby on Matchday 3 of the Israel Youth Premier League Ligat Ha’Al. The victory was the club’s first of the season and the Head Coach Guy Tzarfati spoke about the important win:
“It was a tough match against a difficult opponent. I’m happy about how the players jelled together and worked on the pitch. This was an important away victory that will help us along the way.”
Going forward:
“I know that our club can and needs to play better over longer periods of time during course of the match, to be more dominant and control the game. I believe that this will continue to improve from match to match.”
