Maccabi “Oded” Tel Aviv 2:0 Maccabi “Yehonatan-Yoni” Netanya
The Under-17 beat Maccabi Netanya at home on Matchday 12 and are still undefeated in league play. Rave Assayag and Omri Ram scored for Maccabi “Oded”. Head coach Eliezer Ben Aharon summed up the contest: “We started the game well, exactly how we wanted to. The first half was good and we controlled the pace of play just as we had planned. Our second half wasn’t as good and we weren’t able to convert the chances that we had. The win proves to both the staff and players that we are maturing as a team and we knew how to comeback after the Cup match this past week. However, I did see some players who were still stuck on last match and I’ve got to remind them that they have to quickly put it behind them and move on. It’s on to next Saturday and Kiryat Shemona.”
Hapoel Ashkelon 0:4 Maccabi “Eli Fuchs” Tel Aviv
Maccabi “Eli Fuchs” defeated the Ashkelon on Matchday 13 of league play marking the Under-16’s 5th win in 7 matches which moved the team into third place, just 3 points off the top of the table. We were offside too many times, but the things we worked on over the last few week’s are improving. All in all it was a good result, but we should have scored more goals.”

We will continue to work hard and we are already looking ahead to the next match.”
Maccabi “Ilan” Tel Aviv 3:1 Hapoel Raanana
The Under-15 North Team picked up a comeback win on Matchday 11, making it five wins in five matches good for third place on the table and only 3 points away from first place. Aviv Peles, Omer Senior and Kamil Jabara scored for the young Yellow & Blue. Head Coach Asaf Heber reflected on his side’s win: “Despite giving up an early goal from a set piece, we were in total control of the match on the pitch. Before the break we drew even and in the second half we pressed and dominated play leading to a couple of goals. It was a pleasure to watch the players know how to take what we did in training and put it into practice.”
