Barak Itzhaki who scored Maccabi’s first goal of the match spoke about his side’s play in the 3:0 win over Bnei MMBE to advance to the State Cup Round of 16:
“It was a typical State Cup match. We didn’t play well in the first half and I have to take my hat off to them as they put up a good fight. They tried to do the best they could, but we showed our quality in the end.”

“It won’t be enough and we have to improve, but over the last month and a half we have played well. We have to really give Bnei MMBE credit and I wish them luck the rest of the way.”
