The Maccabi Tel Aviv FC Foundation is a strong supporter of the IDF, the Israel Defense Forces and hosts injured soldiers on a regular basis to speak to the club’s youth teams.
Liran Baruch, a Yellow & Blue supporter, who was injured in the second Intifada spoke about his experiences while serving the country as well as his rehabilitation that led him to inspire many others with his story of challenge and courage. The Under-16 side were very moved and honored to have been in his presence as they asked many questions and looked ahead to when they will serve Israel in the near future.
