Eitan Tibi, the Yellow & Blue veteran central defender looked back at the goalless draw at Ashdod on Matchday 25 of the Israel Premier League Ligat Ha’Al:
“We are losing points to teams that on paper aren’t as good as us. But at the end of the day in order to win try title be have to defeat all of the teams. Everything is close this season and we have another match next week that is important and from there we will head to the playoffs.”
The team’s status:
“I don’t think that it’s the case where we aren’t good enough. I remember when we spoke a few months ago and you said that we were so far away from first place and I said that we weren’t good enough. That’s not the case now. We are a good team and we brought in new players and they really adjusted well.
Match won’t decide the title:
“There’s no question that this match won’t decide the championship as we have plenty of games in front of us. We have to come into every match focussed and ready to go. Our decisions today weren’t as good and that’s what made all of the difference.”
