Bar Cohen and Rave Assayag scored for Maccabi. Ben Aharon summed up the victory: “Every match at Ashdod is challenging for any team and age group. Ashdod took the lead in the 14’ due to a defensive error, but our players didn’t get down as a result of the goal and pushed forward with quality chances which resulted in 2 goals. We made some changes in our attack in the second half in order to kill the game but we failed to score. However, we kept the lead as we fought and battled knowing that we needed the victory in order to win the title. Our goal as a team is to continue to play well and that creates even more motivation on their part. The players have a lot of determination and we saw that today.”
Maccabi “Eli Fuchs” Tel Aviv 11:0 Beitar Ironi Maale Adumim “Tzav Pius”

Head Coach Raymond Atteveld talked about the match: “I’m very happy with the result and the way we pressured the opponent from the first moment. We made sure that they wouldn’t think that they could take a point and control the ball. It’s usually difficult to play these types of games and continue to score goals. I’m happy that the players did do that and they deserve to be complimented. It’s good to see that even when we score 11 goals we continued to play at the same pace.”
Maccabi “Eldad” Tel Aviv 1:2 Hapoel “Rami” Tel Aviv
The Under-15 South team fell to the Reds in the Derby on Matchday 20 as Oskar Glok scored the lone goal for the Yellow & Blue. Head Coach Ori David spoke about the match: “We lost in a game that could have resulted in a big win for us. We had many good chances close to the goal after we were ahead 1:0 and we controlled the contest but two mistakes due to exhaustion cost us 2 unnecessary goals. They played well, but now we have to focus on the Cup match against Maccabi Haifa.”
Maccabi Petah Tikva 0:0 Maccabi “Ilan” Tel Aviv
After an important midweek win, 2:1 over Netanya, the Under-15 North squad played Petah Tikva to a goalless draw. Asaf Heber, the Head Coach summed up the match: This is the 4th time we met Maccabi Petah Tikva this season and they are a terrific team. As the season continued we can see the differences in the level of the matches themselves and the football that’s being played. I’m proud of the football we played and how we played as we tried to take advantage of the opponent’s weak points. If we would have been a bit more clinical near the goal we could have taken home the win, but now we have to look ahead to the State Cup quarterfinals.”
