Ophir Davidzada, the Maccabi Tel Aviv defender looked back at his side’s 1:0 loss to Cluj in first leg second round Champions League qualifying:
“This wasn’t an easy match against a very good team. I think a draw would have been a true reflection of this match. Now we’re heading home to our fans after the first half which ended 1:0. We will need the supporters more than ever for this match and we will do everything we can to advance to the next stage.”
Focussing on ourselves:
“We have to focus on ourselves and not what they are saying. I am sure that our coach will prepare is well for the second leg and I believe that we can do what we need to in order to go to the next stage.”
Taking advantage of the chances:
“We have to be very focussed and concentrated because we won’t have many chances. But when we do have our chances, we need to score the first goal and I believe that we will together with the help of the fans cheering us on.”
