Maccabi Tel Aviv central defender Eitan Tibi was part of the side that drew with Ness Ziona on Saturday. They are the first club to score against Maccabi this season in the league.
“We weren’t good enough today. There are games when you don’t play so well and you get the points but today we didn’t manage to do this.”
“Ness Ziona scored a first goal against us this season and we were unable to find any holes in their defence. We didn’t control the game and I’m sure that there are aspects that the coach will want to discuss with us,” Tibi said.
“The season is still long and we are nowhere near winning the title yet, we will have to learn from our mistakes and be sharper in upcoming games. It’s disappointing to concede a goal finally but clearly, it’s part of the game and we must look ahead now and forget what has happened.”
