The Maccabi Tel Aviv Foundation continues to support male and female Lone soldiers as this time, ahead of the International Women’s Day, they organized a together with the ‘Big Brother’ organization, a particularly tasty event.
The ‘Big Brother’ non-profit organization acts at Soldiers Home & Hostels, while the Maccabi Foundation continues on a regular basis to take part in the activities that take place every Saturday night. This time, ahead of the International Women’s day, Maccabi’s sponsor NIVEA donated 60 grooming kits in favor of the female lone soldiers and made the happy in particular.
It wasn’t only the female soldiers who benefited during that evening, as all the lone soldiers enjoyed a dinner sponsored by Pizza Prego, that as usual sent pizzas for the event.
Notably, the activities took place at three Welfare Buildings for soldiers as during the evening the soldiers discussed various issues concerning female soldiers and gender in the society and army in particular.
In addition to last Saturday’s event, NIVEA also decided to donate to ‘The Alma’ project and ‘Elem’ NGO that supports girls who were victims of sexual harassment and required aid. The Maccabi sponsor, made sure to send them grooming kits.
Just like in previous years, and on this day in particular – the Maccabi foundation is proud to strengthen the Lone female soldiers who are dealing with difficulties and support them all year round.
