Saturday 3.4.21: Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Hapoel Be’ersheva (Bloomfield, 20:30).

The season’s money-time gets underway. After a two-week international break Maccabi returns to league action o9n Saturday night as they host Hapoel Be’ersheva for the opening match of the Play-Offs on MD27. This will the sixth (and not final) encounter this season between the two sides. Maccabi faced Be’ersheva this season so far twice in the Super-Cup, twice in the league, and one more time in the State Cup.

Tuesday 6.4.21: Maccabi Haifa vs Maccabi Tel Aviv (Sammy Ofer, 20:00).

The first of two top of the table clashes between the two run-away leaders has been set for the second match-day of the Play-Offs. The Haifaites will host the first encounter at Sammy Ofer, with the two previous encounters in the regular season ending in a 2-2 at Haifa and a dramatic late 2-1 victory for Maccabi at Bloomfield.

Sunday 11.4.21: Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Maccabi Petah Tikva (Bloomfield, 20:15).

Just like the fixtures during the regular season, matches in the Play-Off’s will come thick and fast. Maccabi host this season’s surprising newly promoted side Maccabi Peta Tikva that enjoyed a successful campaign which began with a 2-1 victory over Maccabi on the opening day of the season.

Sunday 18.4.21: Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Ashdod (Bloomfield, 20:30).

A rare occasion will see Maccabi enjoy a week’s rest between fixtures as they host the league’s second surprise package – Ashdod on MD30. Ran Ben Shimon’s side that beat Maccabi 3-2 in the league’s first round, face Patrick van Leeuwen’s side on MD30 for what will be the first of two encounters in the space of three days.

Wednesday 21.4.21: Ashdod vs Maccabi Tel Aviv (Ashdod, 20:30).

Three days after lining up against each other in the league, both sides will go head-to-head once again – this time in the Quarter Final stage of the State Cup. The last time Maccabi played a State Cup match at Ashdod saw Paulo Sousa’s side crash out of the Cup after extra time in the 2014/15 season.

This Saturday: A Youth team league derby

Having returned to action during March, the Youth Academy teams continue their league activity. This Saturday the U-19’s host Hapoel Tel Aviv for an interesting derby at Nes Ziona (12:00).
