Brandley Mack-Olien Kuwas is set to join Maccabi Tel Aviv after the Dutch born attacking midfielder who played for most of his career in Holland and the UAE agreed a two-year-deal with an option to extend by a further season.
Kuwas, who successfully completed his medical at the club, said after signing his contract: “I am happy to be in Israel and join Maccabi Tel Aviv. I can’t wait to join my new teammates and hope that together we could do great things this season both in the Conference League and the domestic competitions. See you soon. Yalla Maccabi!”
Maccabi’s Head of Football Department, Barak Itzhaki told the club’s official website: “Brandley Kuwas is a player with a proven ability who can play in various positions in midfield and attack. We are certain that Brandley would assist us in achieving our goals and wish him good luck”.
Kuwas, 181cm made his first footballing footsteps at the Youth Academy of AZ Alkmaar before making his senior debut for Volendam in 2012. The Curacao international winger scored 15 goals in 103 appearances for Volendam in the Dutch second division, which led to a move to Excelsior in 2015 where he scored 4 goals in 34 appearances in the Dutch top flight. The following season, Kuwas joined Heracles Almelo and in two seasons still in the top flight, scored 21 goals in 96 appearances.
Kuwas, played last season at Abu Dhabi club Al Jazira FC for which he scored 3 goals in 13 appearances whilst on loan from Dubai club Al Nasr whom he joined in 2019 and scored 5 goals in 31 appearances.
