Yonatan Cohen completed his transfer from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Pisa after the 25-year-old forward successfully completed his medical and signed a new contract at the Italian club.
Maccabi’s CEO Sharon Tammam, told the club’s official website: “Yonatan developed himself at Maccabi Tel Aviv and turned into a quality forward with a proven ability at the club. We wish him good luck as he embarks on a new journey”.
Cohen, a product of Maccabi’s Youth Academy, scored a total of 41 goals in 111 appearances in all competitions, won a total of 7 trophies: 2 League Championships at Maccabi (2018/19 and 2019/20), 1 State Cup (2020/21), 2 Toto Cups (2019/20 and 2020/21) and 2 Super Cups (2019/20 and 2020/21). In Europe Cohen scored 4 goals for Maccabi in 17 appearances and qualified with the team to the EUROPA League round of 32 in the 2020/21 season.
