Ido Shahar (20) completed his loan deal to Maccabi Petah Tikva until the end of the season after Maccabi Tel Aviv exercised the option to extend the midfielder’s contract by two more years.
Shahar, made 12 appearances for the senior side this season 8 of which in the Conference League, 3 in the League, 1 in the Toto Cup and scored his senior debut goal in the 3-1 victory over Hapoel Jerusalem.
Last season, Shahar made his senior debut in the Super Cup against Hapoel Be’ersheva, won the Toto Cup against Bnei Sakhnin joining Hapoel Haifa on loan for which he scored a goal in 23 appearances.
Shahar who is part of Israel’s U21 squad, scored 2 goal in 9 appearances and also represented the young Israel national teams 45 times and scored 2 goals.
