Maccabi Tel Aviv announces today that CEO Sharon Tammam will be leaving the Club effective end of the season.
Maccabi Tel Aviv would like to thank Sharon Tammam for her dedicated service and many accomplishments over the past 12 years as well as her contribution toward the building of the successful organization that is Maccabi Tel Aviv FC today.
Sharon Tammam stated: “It is a very tough decision to leave this Club that I love, and the wonderful people I work with that are family. It has been a wonderful journey and at times a roller coaster. I am very proud of the accomplishments we reached together with the past and present management and staff”. Ms. Tammam joined Maccabi 12 years ago as Marketing Director then ascended through the positions of Commercial Director, Chief Operating Officer, culminating in CEO in 2019. “When I first arrived at the Club, I would have never believed I would one day be the CEO of this storied club. I gave my all, yes, but I must also give credit to my colleagues and the organization for acknowledging me with the highest managerial position in the club. I would like to thank all staff members, management, sponsors, players and everyone that I have worked with, both past and present, who have helped me fulfil my duties.
A special thanks to the owner, Mitch Goldhar and to Jack Angelides for giving me this amazing opportunity, an experience of a lifetime. I am confident that with Mitch’s vision and leadership and with the contribution of the incredibly dedicated and talented staff members, Maccabi will continue to develop, grow and reach many more peaks”.

Sharon will remain part of the Maccabi Tel Aviv family and we wish her the best in her new endeavors”.
