Israel kicked off their EURO 2024 qualifying campaign with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Kosovo at Bloomfield stadium on Saturday. Dor Peretz completed 90 minutes and scored a 56th minute equaliser to cancel Eli Dasa’s own goal in the first half. Peretz marked his 33rd international appearance with his 6th goal for Israel with fellow teammates Daniel Peretz, Dan Glazer and Gabi Kanichowsky all unused subs.
Israel will continue their campaign on March 28th (21:45) with a tough match in Geneva against Switzerland that returned from Belarus with an emphatic 5-0 win.
On Thursday Dor Turgeman played 71 minutes for Israel’s U21’s which salvaged a 0-0 in a friendly match away to Croatia. Having qualified to the European Finals this summer, the U21’s will play another friendly away to Switzerland several hours before the senior sides face each other.
