The 2023/24 campaign is already here as this evening (Wednesday) the team held its’ first training session of the season. Newly appointed Head Coach, Robbie Keane, guided the team for the first time at the PenguinPickUp training complex at Kiryat Shalom which was his first time in Yellow and Blue.
Besides Keane, the players were introduced to the new Assistant Coach Rory Delap who arrived in Tel Aviv to join the coaching staff.
Several players who were on international duty with the Israel national team: Dan Glazer, Ofir Davidzada, Gabi Kanichowsky as well as Djordje Jovanobvic with Serbia, were given extra leave. Daniel Peretz, Roy Revivo and Dor Turgeman who are with the Israel Under 21’s at the European Championship Finals in Georgia – were also absent.
