Henry Addo signed a 3.5 year-deal after an agreement was reached between Maccabi and Slovakian side MSK Zilina for the transfer of 20-year-old Ghanian forward.
Addo, (180cm), successfully completed a medical before signing a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The forward who can play in various positions upfront and will receive the number 20 shirt at Maccabi, told the club’s official website: “I am delighted to be joining Maccabi Tel Aviv, the biggest club in Israel and well known in Europe. The project here at Maccabi is appealing to me and I look forward to working hard and do my best to contribute to it”.
A graduate of Zilina’s African youth academy, Addo, moved to Slovakia in 2021 and joined Zilina’s youth academy before joining the first team for which he scored 7 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
