Sagiv Jehezkel joined Maccabi Tel Aviv after the 29-year-old signed a 3-year-deal with an option to extend by a further season.
Jehezkel, who played last season for Turkish side Antalyaspor, returns for a second tenure at Maccabi for which he played between 2016-2017.
After signing his contract, Jehezkel, who will receive the number 29 at Maccabi, told the Club’s official website: “I am delighted to sign for Maccabi Tel Aviv which will see me come full circle. From the moment I was linked to Maccabi and during all this time, I received numerous support messages from fans that was extremely motivating. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and especially play at Bloomfield in front of a full stadium. I return hungrier than ever.”
Having previously played for Hapoel Be’ersheva for which he scored 16 goals in 82 appearances, Ashdod 15 goals in 51, Kiryat Shmona, Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Tel Aviv, Jehezkel, represented Israel’s national team 8 times as well as 25 international appearances for the young Israeli national sides.
