Some 2.4 million students are slated to head back to school on Sunday, following the summer vacation.
While the team were in Serbia playing the return leg of their Europa league Playoff, the Maccabi Tel Aviv Foundation together with celebrity fans Yossiel Ne’aman and Liron ‘Tiltil’ Orfali headed for Kibbutz Shfayim. The duo met with kids of Kfar Aza who have been evacuated from the Southern Gaza border communities for almost a year, helped them prepare to return to school.
Representatives of the Maccabi Foundation accompanied by Yossiel and Tiltil arrived at Shfayim on Thursday morning and met with the evacuated kids of Kfar Aza, posed for photos and handed out some return to school packs.
We take the opportunity to wish the kids of Kfar Aza and the rest of the kids in Israel a safe, prosperous return to school and a successful Yellow year.
