Wesley Patati joined Maccabi from Santos after an agreement was reached between the two clubs for the transfer of the Brazilian forward who signed a three-year deal with an option to extend by a further season.

 

The 20-year-old Brazilian (172cm) who can play in various positions upfront, represented his country’s U18’s national team twice and is a member of Brazil’s U20’s.

Shortly after successfully completing his medical and signing his contract, Patati, who will wear the number 17 jersey at Maccabi told the official website: “To be here and get the opportunity to play for Maccabi is very exciting for me. Meeting my new teammates, entering the stadium and of course meet the fans of this amazing club is something I can’t wait to do”.

Patati, made his first footballing footsteps at the Santos Youth Academy made his senior debut in July 2022 in the Brazilian Cup and has since scored a total of 18 goals in 65 appearances in all competitions for the Sao Paolo club.
