Dor Micha collected 25% of your votes while Haris Medunjanin picked up 23%. In third place was Eyal Golasa at 19% thanks to his winning strike in Alkmaar.

55% of the thousands of Maccabi FIRST members who voted chose winger, Tal Ben Chaim for the second consecutive month. Number 11 scored six goals in six appearances including a brace in the 5:0 Derby victory.

Haris Medunjanin picked up 25% of the popular vote while Icelander Vidar Kjartansson took home 12% as he also scored a brace in the Derby.

The Yellow & Blue winger, Tal Ben Chaim was August’s winner with over 49% of the popular vote (out of over 2000 who took part) and he also leads the league in goals after two Matchdays with three. Oscar Scarione finished in second place earning 30% of your votes as the Argentinean has scored 4 goals in all competitions since arriving at Kiryat Shalom while Gal Alberman rounded out the top three.

The 2015/16 season is behind us and we’re already getting ready for the new season that’s opening up earlier than usual, but we certainly couldn’t finish up the campaign without you having the opportunity to vote for the player of the season. And you did it the way you know best.

The high voter turnout proved one point, that Eran Zahavi is overwhelmingly your player of the season taking home 64% of the popular vote. Gal Alberman finished in second place with 20% while winger Tal Ben Chaim ended in third with 11%.

40% of Maccabi FIRST Members voted for Ben Chaim to win April’s award. This was an impressive number considering the Captain, Eran Zahavi broke the league’s single season goal scoring record as he took 16% of the vote. Barak Itzhaki finished in 3rd place with 15%.

What a fantastic start to the Bosnian’s second term with the club after arriving at Kiryat Shalom on the last day of the January transfer window. Goal of the Match against Hapoel Kfar Saba in State Cup action, an amazing assist versus Maccabi Netanya and 90 minutes played in five matches this past month. Not bad at all Haris! Let’s take a look at how the voting went down:

Medunjanin finished in first place with 33% of the total votes while Tal Ben Chaim picked up 22% of the tally. Voting came right down to the wire but on the last day the midfielder took the lead for good. We’re sure that next month TT will give his fans plenty of excitement to take the prize home then. It was close, very, very close. The first month of the year saw 15 goals in 6 matches, but most important was the fight for the HISENSE January Player of the Month where the lead goal scorer Eran Zahavi beat out the assist leader Dor Micha. The Maccabi FIRST Members voted with their fingers and gave the captain the nod for yet another month and now one of you will have a chance to win a 32” TV from the contest’s sponsor, HISENSE.

How close was it? Well this is how it played out. Zahavi took 49% while Micha collected 45% of the total votes. Last month Zahavi and Micha also finished 1-2 in the final tally but the gap was much bigger than this time around. Gal Alberman was a distant third with 5% of the vote.

Now all those who voted for the captain have a chance to win a prize! Today at 17:00, all those who voted for Zahavi will receive an SMS with a trivia question. The first to answer it correctly will win the prize.

Five wins in five matches, 15 goals and a new coach.
